It was a sad day saying goodbye to Miss Lois.  Thank you very much for everything and best wishes for the future.

Playground games workshop

Many thanks to Mair Tomos Ifans for a fantastic playground games workshop, everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning new games.

Children in Need

Everyone wore their pyjamas to school for Children in Need.  Many thanks for the generous donations, £95 was raised.  We welcomed Aled Hughes, Radio Cymru as he travelled through Tal-y-bont on his bike raising money for Children in Need.


Welcome to the Autumn term


Wednesday and Thursday 3.30pm-5.30pm.

£6.00 per child, £4.00 for siblings.

Remember that the club closes at 5.30pm promptly.



It is crucial that you let a member of staff know if there are any changes to the regular routine e.g. going to play with a friend, relative picking up.



If your child has borrowed spare clothes from the school, could you please return them as

soon as possible. We would also be grateful to receive any spare clothes you may have at

home that would be suitable for the reception class children.



£2.45 a day and for the week will be £12.25.

We would like to encourage parents to pay on a Monday to be in credit rather than in arrears.



£7 each to be paid by half term (October 26th). Cheques to be made payable to ‘Urdd Gobaith Cymru’



Each child will need suitable footwear and clothing and a water bottle.

Yrs 5 & 6 – Wednesday



To encourage and develop numeracy skills and independence, year 5 and 6 pupils will run the fruit shop at morning break time. Each piece of fruit will cost 30p a day or £1.50 a week.

Pupils from years 1-6 will need to bring money to spend in the fruit shop.

Reception class children will need to give their money to Miss. Eleri as usual.
